Chinese premier meets IMF managing director and Swedish FM

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Beijing on June 23 separately with Rodrigo Rato Figaredo, managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and Swedish Foreign Minister Laila Freivalds.

Wen and IMF Managing Director Rato exchanged views on international economic situation, China's economic situation and related policies, and other issues of common concern.

Wen gave Swedish Foreign Minister Freivalds an account of China's current political and economic situation. They also conferred on the Sino-Swedish relations as well as international issues of common concern.
