China denies connection between closing ceremony, nuclear talks progress
font size

Whether to hold a closing ceremony for the third round of six-party talks on the Korean Peninsular nuclear issue has no connection with the talks' progress, said Zhang Qiyue, member of the Chinese delegation to the talks.

The consensus reached in the third round of six-party talks on the nuclear issue in the Korean Peninsular should be recorded in written form, said Zhang.

As for what a specific form it should be, it is still under discussion of the relevant parties, Zhang said, adding that China is making efforts to achieve that goal.
