DPRK industrial complex made ready for Seoul's investment
font size

DPRK and South Korea Wednesday celebrated the completion of a pilot industrial complex in Kaesong, a city only a few kilometers north from the heavily armed inter-Korean border, in a concrete step toward much-touted economic cooperation.

About 350 officials and politicians from the two Koreas attended the ceremony organized by Hyundai Asan Corp. and Korea Land Corp., which constructed the pilot 92,400 square-meter complex for 15 South Korean companies.
