Chinese state councilor meets Lao guest

State Councilor and Director of National Narcotics Control Commission Zhou Yongkang met Friday with Soubanh Srithirath, Lao minister to the president's office and chairman of the National Commission for Drug Control and Supervision.

Zhou spoke positively on the bilateral cooperation in the field of drug control, and hoped Soubanh Srithirath's visit would strengthen the good neighborly friendship between the two peoples and boost the drug-control cooperation to a higher level.

Zhou appreciated Laos' contribution to the regional drug control, and said China is willing to offer necessary help to Laos in personnel training, drug control and other areas.

Soubanh Srithirath thanked China for the great help China offered in recent years in various fields including drug control, and said Laos would learn China's experience, boost the bilateral cooperation and improve its working efficiency in drug control.
