Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) told Idriss Arnaoud Ali, the PRP secretary-general Friday that China and Djibouti have maintained frequent contacts on the party and parliamentary level, and the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries have been fruitful.

He said that the two countries are developing countries, and have held similar views on many international issues. This lays the foundation for the friendship between the two countries, he added.

He expressed gratitude for the adherence of Djibouti to the One-China stance.

Ali congratulated on the 83rd anniversary of founding of the CPC, saying that Djibouti and the PRP attached importance to the relations with China and the CPC, and will enhance the bilateral cooperation in all fields.

He reaffirmed that Djibouti will continue to adhere to One-China stance.
