Minister of public security holds talks with Pakistan guest

State-Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhou Yongkang held talks on July with Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, Pakistani minister of Interior and Narcotics Control.

Zhou said the good neighborly friendship between China and Pakistan maintained stable development in recent years, and the public security departments of the two sides have had close cooperation in attacking terrorism, separatists, extremists and other international crime.

Zhou also hoped Pakistan to take further measures to guarantee the safety of Chinese agencies and working staff in Pakistan.

Hayat said Pakistan is willing to strengthen cooperation with China in combating international crime, and promised to strengthen safeguard measures for Chinese agencies and working staff in Pakistan.
