Tropical storm Mindulle lands at east China city

Strong tropical storm Mindulle, a Korean name for dandelion, landed Saturday in Yueqing City in eastChina's Zhejiang Province.

Wind speed topped grade ten at the eye of storm Mindulle, about25 to 33 meters per second, according to Zhejiang provincial meteorological observatory.

Under the influence of the strong tropical storm, it's been raining in Zhejiang since Friday. The middle and southern parts ofZhejiang Province have been attacked by rainstorms and gales afterthe storm bore down at the coastal city at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The typhoon has wrecked havoc across the province. No casualties have been reported so far.
