He Yong, a member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met in Beijing Sunday with Vongphet saygueyachongtoua, director of the discipline inspection committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

He, also deputy secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, briefed Vongphet on anti-corruption and party building of the CPC as well as China's current political and economic situation.

Vongphet expressed hope that the two parties could continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in discipline inspection.
