CPPCC member dismissed

Han Guizhi, former chairwoman of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference) Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, has been discharged from her post as member of the CPPCC National Committee.

The decision was made here Thursday at the Sixth Standing Committee Meeting of the 10th CPPCC National Committee. Han was suspected of being involved in economic lawbreaking activities, according to the decision.

Last month Han was discharged from her post as chairwoman of the CPPCC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee.
