All the 37 people involved in the bird flue case confirmed Thursday in Chaohu City have ended required clinical observation with no abnormal symptoms, health officials said Saturday.

Since the bird flu case at a farm in the city was reported, 37 people were proved to have close contacts with dead chickens and were put under clinical observation. Their temperature was taken and reported to the disease control center of Anhui Province everyday.

As no any abnormal symptoms were reported during the observation, the local health department decided to release the 37people from medical observation in accordance with the state guideline on bird flu control and prevention.

However, the provincial bird flu control headquarters called on all health departments to maintain high vigilance and continue the daily reporting system and observation on patients with fever arising from unknown reasons.
