Indian tractor maker mulls JV in China

Indian tractor maker Escorts plans to float a joint venture in China to sell and service tractors in collaboration with a local company.

The company's proposed move is aimed at tapping the burgeoning Chinese tractor market,according to Monday's CRI online.

Currently, the time-frame and amount to be invested in China is still unknown.

Escorts has joint ventures in the US and Poland.
