Colombia seizes 1.5 tons of cocaine

The Colombian Navy has announced that it has seized 1.5 tons of cocaine and arrested two drug traffickers.

��A navy spokesman said the traffickers had planned to smuggle th e drug into the United States from the sea around the San Andres islands. CRIENGLISH.com reported Monday.

The navy launched its operation on Saturday afternoon.

The annul output of the illegal narcotic cocaine in Colombia accounts for 90 per cent of the world total.
