American students condemns Bush's foreign policies
font size

American students studying in British universities condemned US President George Bush in an open letter released on Monday, saying the US president is endangering the security of American nationals abroad through his foreign policies.

More than 200 students have singed in the letter, published by the campaign group "Win Back Respect" on its website. They warned the conflicts in foreign policies between the US government and its traditional most steadfast allies.

"After September 11, our friends and allies stood firmly besideus. Today, they are increasingly skeptical of our intentions and fearful about the consequences of our country's actions," said the letter.

"We witness daily how decisions that reinforce a perception of American arrogance are undermining rather than strengthening America's security goals and the safety of our citizens at home and abroad," it said.
