Guangde-Cishangang expressway, the key construction project of Anhui province, was formally opened to traffic Sunday, July 11, thus making the Hefei-Hangzhou expressway wholly link up, and it takes only four hours to drive from Hefei to Hangzhou.

The Guangci expressway was launched on July 1, 2002, with the west original starting from the Xuan-Guang expressway which had been completed and opened to traffic, and the east destination linking Ci-Jie expressway which was also opened to traffic.
