Mubarak approves new Egyptian cabinet

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Tuesday issued a decree, approving the lineup of a new cabinet led by Prime Minister-designate Ahmed Nazef, the state-run TV reported.

The approval came shortly after Nazef nominated Ahmed al-Maghrabi as tourism minister, the last portfolio to be filled.

The new government is expected to be sworn in on Wednesday.
