The Department of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) has issued a document laying out rules intended to bolster the army's ability to defend itself against weapons of mass destruction.
The document, which contains five articles and 26 clauses, is titled, "Provisions on the Appraisal of the Overall Protective Abilities for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Weapons of Divisions, Brigades and Regiments of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Land Army."
