EU lifts ban on import of some Chinese animal food products

The European Union (EU) lifted on Friday a two-year ban on the import of some Chinese animal food products, but EU's ban on the import of poultry products from China will remain in place.

Import from China of shrimps, farmed fish, honey, royal jelly, rabbit meat and a number of other products of animal origin was authorized by the EU, the European Commission said in a press release.
