Ukraine mine blast kills at least 21

At least 21 miners were killed and 17 others were missing in a gas explosion in a coal mine in eastern Ukraine, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported early on Tuesday.

The blast occurred late Monday at the Krasnolimanskaya mine in the eastern Donetsk region.

A total of 46 miners were believed to be working in the mine when the blast took place.

The ITAR-TASS news agency said that the bodies of 21 miners hadbeen found
