US residents living in Waco, Texas, near President George W. Bush's Crawford ranch, will see the Bush-bashing anti-war documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" on Friday, local newspaper Waco Tribune-Herald reported on Monday.
The documentary's director Michael Moore gave his permission to showing the movie as a fund-raiser for the Crawford Peace House, said Skip Londos, founder of Friends of Peace, a peace organization which launched the fund-raising activity for the Crawford Peace House.
The documentary, which questioned Bush's presidency and criticized his decision on launching war against Iraq, will be shown at a theater in Waco, about 36 kilometers west of Bush's Crawford ranch.
The film will also be shown next month by peace activists in Crawford, although the date has yet been set, the newspaper said.
Londos said people who show a Republican voter's registration card can watch for free, while others will be asked to donate eight US dollars to the Crawford Peace House.
He said his group might show the film outdoors by using a nearby barn as the screen to accommodate a larger audience.
Moore contacted the newspaper after a column last month said the documentary was not shown in Waco and urged the filmmaker to send a copy.
