    Beijing holds first earthquake drill

    Armed police are dispatched to safeguard the social order in the time of earthquake. The drill, involving more than 2,000 people, was held in the Yuan Dynasty City Wall Ruins Park in north Beijing. The exercises involves earthquake prediction, evacuations, rescues and medical aid. (newsphoto)

    35th anniversary of moon landing
