China to enhance coordination, consultation with Rwanda

China hopes to enhance coordination and consultation with Rwanda in international affairs, and deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, culture, education and public health, said Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing Wednesday.

Li made the remarks during working talks with visiting Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Charles Murigande, who arrived in China Monday for a seven-day official visit to China as Li's guest.

Li spoke positively of China-Rwanda relations, expressing appreciation for Rwanda's consistent adherence to the one-China policy and its support for China in international affairs.

Li suggested the two sides strengthen friendly exchange among various departments and enhance coordination and consultation in international affairs so as to jointly safeguard the legal rights of all the developing countries.

Murigande said the Rwandan government appreciates China's precious support and help during its difficult days of national reconstruction. He reiterated Rwanda's support for the one-China policy, expressing his willingness to enhance cooperation in various fields.
