Relief measures to be in place in 24 hours: Ministry of Civil Affairs

The national civil affair meeting states the statistics relating to disasters should be reported on a timely and accurate manner. The relief work must be prompt and standardized.

The ministry requires that disasters must be reported to the Ministry of Civil Affairs within 7 hours of occurrence. Report must be punctual, accurate and objective. Delayed report or those who fail to report or hide the truth will be penalized. The relief measures must be in place within 24 hours of disaster's occurance.

A total of 285, 000 rooms have collapsed across the country so far. The localities are required to work out rebuild plan, trying to complete the rebuild work in shortest time.
