font size

After 45 years, Argentina and Brazil will meet again in a Copa America final, this time at the National Stadium of Lima on Sunday.

According to the statistics, Argentines and Brazilians have clashed in 30 occasions, of which there were 15 victories for Argentina, eight for Brazil and seven draws, of which two were defined with penalty kicks, with one victory for each.

Also, both teams have competed in Copa America five times but the Argentines won all the tournaments.

The last meeting between these two sides in the regional competition ended in a 1-1- draw in Buenos Aires, and the point was enough for Argentina to win the title.

Same with Uruguay, Argentina has won Copa America 14 times, while Brazil has only six such victories.
