font size

Nepali Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has reiterated his government's stand on One China Policy and said that Nepal would not allow its territory to be used against China.

Deuba was speaking Friday evening at his office during a meeting with a visiting delegation of the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC).

He said his coalition government will always support China on the issue of human rights, and will not allow anyone to conduct any anti-China activities in Nepal.

Nepal and China will celebrate their 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in May 2005, therefore the year will be an important year in the history of bilateral relationship, Deuba said.

The nine-member Chinese delegation led by Xing Yunming, vice chairman of the CAIFC, arrived here Thursday on a three-day visit at the invitation of the China Study Center of Nepal.
