font size

Regulations on guaranteeing armament supplies for the combined arms unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) have come into force recently, according to an order signed by Jiang Zemin, chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC).

In eight chapters and 212 items, the regulations spell out guidelines and procedures to guarantee armament supply, saying that there will be different supply methods for different fighting conditions.

The regulations said that the guarantee of armament supply for the combined arms unit is a component part of the unit's battle, which is of great importance to improving its fighting capabilities.

In a bid to fully ensure the armament supply, it is imperative to follow the advice of the three generations of CMC's chairmen Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin, the regulations stressed.
