Hong Kong Police have charged six men and four women, aged between 13 and 21, over the death of a young woman in Kwun Tong.

They appeared in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court Monday afternoon.

On July 22, a cleaning worker reported to the police that a woman was lying unconscious on the staircase beside a stream at the bottom of a slope on Kai Tin Road, Kwun Tong.

The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of her death is yet to be determined, pending further toxicological examinations.

Following investigations by the Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit, the defendants were arrested last Saturday.
