King Abdullah II Bin Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived in Beijing Monday for a state visit to China.

Invited by Chinese President Hu Jintao, Abdullah II is also scheduled to visit Hong Kong from July 27 to 29.

Abdullah II ascended the throne in February 7, 1999. This is his sixth visit to China.
