US, Philippine navies launch joint exercises

The Philippine and US navy officials attending the opening ceremony of joint naval exercises held at Subic Bay free port in Philippines. The Philippine and US navy launched a new round of combined naval exercises Tuesday to promote interoperability, at least 1,400 American sailors aboard five US naval ships and 1,100 Filipino troops with five vessels will participate the week-long joint naval exercises.
