font size

The US government has assured to pay the medical, living and lawsuit expenses for Zhao Yan, a Chinese businesswoman who was savagely beaten by a US border inspector.

Zhao Yan's lawyer says the US Federal Government has informed him that it will bear all the litigation costs of Zhao Yan in America and her income losses caused by the injury.

An official with New York Western District Court reveals Zhao Yan's case will be opened to a court session on September 20.

Zhao Yan has got temporary medical subsidy from the US Government. As an important witness, she will legally be permitted to stay in the United States, waiting that the case will be finally unraveled.
