    Traffic lights use solar energy

    Fire kills some 270 in Paraguay

    Fishing ban lifted in Guangdong Province

    The performance of traditional wedding for piscatorial family on a float has attracted the attention of several fisherwomen as they celebrate the lift of fishing ban at the Zhapo port of Yangjiang City, south China's Guangdong Province Aug. 1, 2004. About 13,000 fishing boats of this province will set out for fishing as the fishing ban in the South China Sea gets over on Sunday after being implemented for two months. The June-August ban is aimed at protecting fish stocks in coastal waters and ensuring the sustainable usage of ocean sources.
