On the occasion of commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Deng Xiaoping the Chronological Life of Deng Xiaoping, approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCCPC), edited by the Party Literature Research Center of the CCCPC and published by the Party Literature Publishing House of the CPC, was distributed nationwide on August 2.

The chronicle consists of two volumes in 1.02 million characters with more than 3,500 entries. It combines the characteristics of ideology and biography in one and comprehensively reflects the great achievements made by comrade Deng Xiaoping in leading the whole Party and the people of all our ethnic groups to initiate a socialist path of Chinese Characteristics, reproducing in a realistic way the great and magnificent history of China during the reform and opening up and the modernization construction.
