font size

According to the information from the authoritative website of National Bureau of Statistics, the results of the second quarter economists' confidence survey, released by China Economic situation Monitoring Center of National Statistics Bureau on August 2, show that economists are satisfied with the present economic situation, and they hold a prudent yet optimistic attitude towards the economic trends.

The questionnaires done by 50 representative economists in the country who have studies the macro-economy show that, three fourths of the economists are "satisfied" with the present economic situation. The percentage of people holding the opinion that the "over-heated" economic operation at present has decreased from 64 in the first quarter to 25.6 percent in the second quarter. This indicates that, the macro-control has taken effect, and the "heat" in economic operation has been evidently reduced.
