China enhances disaster relief
font size

An official from the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs says the country's ability to manage sudden disasters has been significantly enhanced.

Up to now, 31 provinces, municipalities and some towns have built reserve material storerooms and established a broader material storage system for disaster relief.

The official also notes that China's ability to send materials to disaster hit areas is on par with some developed countries.
