Individual income tax exceeds 88 bln yuan in first half

According to the Tax Express statistics, the individual income tax taken in the Chinese mainland in the first half of this year reached 88.118 billion yuan, 20.6 percent up over the same period of last year. It was raised by 15.056 billion yuan.

This year, local taxation organizations at all the levels have quickened to establish an individual income archives management system, a double declaration system of taxpayer and deducting agent, and a concerted system in cooperation with various departments of the society. And they also set up an individual income tax information management system. With information measures, they will gradually realize full management on individual income, and stress the high earners' management as well as tax source management, thereby further standardizing and strengthening the individual income taxi-collecting management, and ensuring various working missions be fulfilled successfully.
