A leading wanted militant was arrested by Saudi Arabia's security forces on Thursday, Al Arabiya television reported.

Faris al-Zahrani, who is on a list of 26 top wanted militants with suspected links to Osama bin Laden's terror network al Qaida, was arrested in the south of the kingdom, the report said.
