Mongolian president urges more audit cooperation with China
font size

Mongolian President Nachagyn Bagabandy told China's top auditor Li Jinhua in Ulan Bator Friday that it is highly essential for the two neighbors to work together in auditing.

It is important for the auditing departments of both countries to have more exchanges to cope with rising bilateral trade and more cooperation projects and to adequately audit the use of Chinese assistance funds and loans to Mongolia, Bagabandy said while meeting Li, auditor-general of the Chinese National Audit Office.

Bagabandy noted that China is the largest investor and trade partner of Mongolia, and that trade and cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries are increasing rapidly.

Li, for his part, said close cooperation between the auditing departments of the two countries would enhance Sino-Mongolian friendship.

Li arrived here earlier Friday on a three-day visit.
