Six digital TV channels are to be launched nationwide on Monday.

The programs will include sports, drama and music. Audience could watch Athens Olympics 24 hours a day on the sports channel.

They will be free-of-charge for the trial period, which ends on Sept. 1, after which each channel will cost 58 yuan, or 7 US dollars per month.

In addition, another four digital TV channels are expected to open in late August or early September.
