Female Han Dynasty body still in good form
This is the first time that information about the relic's condition has been publicized since being excavated thirty years ago from the Changsha Mawangdui Ancient Tomb in central China's Hunan province. After two years of intensive investigation, experts released their findings at an international seminar marking the thirtieth anniversary of the Tomb excavation on Saturday. The female noble was believed to have died in 186 BC at the age of 50. Her body, preserved in an unknown fluid, still had complete skin, elastic muscle tissue and veins when discovered. | ||
