Chinese gymnastics prince Li Xiaopeng, who boasts two Olympic golds in Sydney 2000 and three world championship titles in Anaheim, United States, last year, has fully recovered from his Archilles's tendon injury.

Li himself, Li's coach Chen Xiong, Chinese gymnastics team head coach Huang Yubin and Chinese team leader Gao Jian told Xinhua on Monday outside a training venue in Athens with the same words "the injury is nothing now".

Li Xiaopeng, the flag-carrier of the current Chinese men's team and the successor of Chinese gymnastic heros Li Ning, Li Jing and Li Xiaoshuang, took the men's team and parallel bars gold medals in Sydney and claimed men's team, parallel bars and vault titles in Anaheim.

"I have suffered the injury for quite a long time and I have already got used to it. Recently, I did a lot of special exercise under the direction of the team doctor," Li Xiaopeng said.

"Now, everything is OK," he added.

Li will lead the Chinese men's team to defend their titles in Athens. His superpower in parallel bars and vault with special routines raised Chinese hope for gold medals as more as possible in the Olympic gymnastics competition.
