Ivory Coast's power-sharing cabinet met on Monday, fulfilling pledges political party leaders made during the Ghana summit to resume operation of the government.
Three opposition ministers sacked by President Laurent Gbagbo took part in the meeting and agreed on an "accelerated" work schedule to catch up after the long period of suspension. CRIENGLISH.com reported Tuesday.
The cabinet also decided to meet again in the near future to discuss specific measures of getting government going.
The country has effectively been without government since the end of March, when opposition and rebel ministers walked out in protest.
