Chinese caught in deadly Istanbul blasts

Two people are dead and two Chinese citizens are among nine people injured two bomb blasts in the Turkish largest city of Istanabul.

The simultaneous explosions which struck two small hotels in the city where dozens of foreign tourists are staying.

The city's police chief, Celalettin Cerrah, says it was a terrorist attack.

A worker at one of the hotels says they received an anonymous call 10 minutes before the explosion, saying there was a bomb in a room.

No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts.

Two bombs also exploded at a gas station in Istanbul causing damage but no casualties.
