Juan Antonio Samaranch, former president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said Wednesday in Athens that the IOC spoke high of his successor Jacques Rogge at the 116th IOC session.
"The IOC is going the right way," said Samaranch who retired in 2001, adding that the IOC is getting better than ever.
Samaranch, who remains as the president of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, said that visitors to the museum has risen by an astonishing 25 per cent, despite the terror attack in Madrid on March 11, which led to a tourism crisis in Europe.
"That's a very high level and shows that the museum is going very well," Samaranch said.
