Chinese HK Olympic contingent leaves for Athens

Chinese Hong Kong Olympic contingent left for Athens Thursday evening to take part in the 28th Olympic Games set to open on August 13.

The 68-member delegation has 33 athletes to compete in 10 sports at the upcoming Games.

Cai Xiaohui, a less known young female swimmer, was appointed to bear the Chinese Hong Kong flag at the opening ceremony.

The contingent takes a Thailand International Airline plane to Bangkok and then transfers to Athens.
