Textiles link with global sourcing chain
font size

The partnership between China Textile Industry Council and ShanghaiMart connects China's textile with the global textile products sourcing chain.

China has the world's largest and best integrally structured textile and apparel supply system. As the quotas of textiles and apparel will be removed by 2005 and developed countries have increased their cross-border purchasing activities, it is necessary to have an international business platform in place for domestic producers.

ShanghaiMart is one of China's largest world-class professional exhibition center. It houses global giants such as Wal-Mark, Tesco, Dallas Market Center, etc.

An array of events, ranging from forums about trade and corporate innovation to international procurement have been scheduled in September this year for the industry.
