Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez Bautista will pay an official visit to China from Aug. 14 to 19, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhao Xing, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Kong Quan said Thursday.

During the visit, the two ministers will jointly preside over the opening ceremony and the first conference of an inter-governmental institution between the two countries.
