China starts anti-dumping probe on foreign chemicalsThe Chinese Ministry of Commerce on Thursday started an anti-dumping investigation against Furan Phenol, a chemical made in Japan, the European Union and the United States, which is used in producing pesticide. In accordance with China's anti-dumping rules, the ministry will investigate whether dumping exists, dumping margin and damage to domestic industry, it said. The investigation will last till Aug.12, 2005. However, it might be postponed till Feb.11, 2006 if necessary, it said. |
