The World Health Organization (WHO)has awarded Uganda a respectable trophy and certificate in appreciation of steps taken toward banning public smoking, Radio Uganda reported on Thursday.

WHO representative Oladapo Walker handed the award to Ugandan Minister of Water, Lands and Environment Kahinda Otafiire at the ministry headquarters in Kampala on Thursday.
