China to hold World Industrial and Commercial Organizations Summit

China will hold World Industrial and Commercial Organizations Summit from Sept. 19 to 20 in Beijing,declared Xu Kuangdi, chairman of China Industrial Economics Federation Friday.

The planning has been approved by the State Council, Xu said.

The summit aims to promote dialogues between worldwide industrial and commercial organizations and discuss their roles in the international economy.

China has been planning to hold the summit with a hope to facilitate dialogues between worldwide industrial and commercial organizations, Xu said.

The summit will be held by organizations including China Industrial Economics Federation, United Nations Industrial Development Organization and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

Trade associations from more than 30 countries, including the United States, Germany, Australia and Japan, have expressed their intentions to participate in the summit, according to sources withthe sponsors.
