Guangdong sets up SARS database

South China's Guangdong province has set up a SARS case database, CRIENGLISH.com reported Sunday.

The local government has earmarked several million yuan to build the database.

Altogether 1500 SARS cases have been collected and recorded in the database.

Experts believe the database will offer valuable experience for further prevention, control and treatment of the deadly disease.
