Ilias Iliadis of Greece defeated Roman Gontyuk of Ukraine to take the men's 81kg judo gold medal at the Athens Olympic Games Tuesday afternoon.

Brazilian Flavio Canto shared the bronze medal with Russian Dmitri Nossov after they defeated Robert Krawczyk of Poland and Mehman Azizov by waza-ari respectively.
